Why "Amputee Sock Prints" started...
December 2020 my mom became an RBTKA (Right below The Knee Amputee) due to complications with diabetes. I always knew she was a positive woman, but after her surgery she showed strength and optimism that was exceptional. After looking at the dull and depressing ace bandage that wrapped the part of her leg that was amputated I knew I had to find her something pretty or upfifting. I was shocked when I couldn't find anything. It took a bit of research and lots of discussion with amputees, but I knew something had to be done about this. Late 2021 Amputee Sock Prints was born. No more dull and depressing socks.... you can now "Heal with Appeal!"
